Wendy’s Frosty is changing... but it all good! I've been a fan of the Frosty for EVER and when they added the vanilla, I was hooked on that, now the Dublin, Ohio fast-food company is going to put its frozen dairy dessert in a waffle cone!
At a price of $1.49, the New Frosty Cone will be in chocolate or vanilla. A small chocolate Frosty, at a little less than 7 ounces, has 290 calories and 7 grams of fat, according to MyFitnessPal.com. Add a waffle cone, and it will be around 450 calories, which is about 100 calories less than a small (12oz) McDonald’s chocolate milkshake.
So yesterday was the Radiothon and it can be interesting to do a 12 hour LIVE REMOTE broadcast. We never want to bore people whith how radio works, or ever let listeners know sometimes we have tech issues. Yesterday we had a few minor snags and I was trying to work with our engineers, who were not on the site, to remedy the issue. So, I have my keys in my hand, go to our station van, where the equipment was, open the sliding door, only to have it slam shut on my key! I'm glad it wasn't my finger, because THAT would have been an issue! This was my key's result. I literally stood there and laughed out loud! The good news is, as of now, the key still works in my wife's van. Thank goodness, but I stress "AS OF NOW". I was told that the key replacement is around $250! That would be an expensive day at the Radiothon. BTW: The engineering staff, as always, fixed the issue and the broadcast had no noticable glitches. Just keep paddling away under the water little duckie.
