Nobody likes doing chores around the house and many of us will try to avoid them as much as possible.
But, some chores that we make a big deal out of – and procrastinate in a big way – aren’t really that big of a deal.
- Doing Laundry – Especially if you have a washer and a dryer in your house (or building) this isn’t that big of a deal. C’mon … the machine is doing the work!
- Dishes – Why do dishes wind up in the sink for days? How much more efficient would your life be if you just washed a dish or pot as soon as you were done using it?
- Cleaning a Toilet – Yes. It’s a toilet, which means it’s gross. But, swishing a brush around the bowl is a five-minute job.
- Taking Out the Garbage – Again, this is a two-minute job that we, for some reason, avoid at all costs.
