Florida county offering hockey and baseball tickets for guns
(970 WFLA) - It's called Operation Gun Swap. And turning in a gun will get you $75 bucks and ticket vouchers for a Lightning and Rays game.
It's the latest effort to get unwanted and unsecured guns off the streets.
"There's people for the gun buy back programs and people against. We're taking a different approach," said Captain Chad Chronister of the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office.
"That's one less firearm that has an opportunity to fall into the wrong hands."
