Marion law enforcement officials made their fourth heroin raid in a week as they busted a suspected drug dealer Tuesday afternoon.

According to a release, at 12:00 P.M. Tues., officers with the MARMET/METRICH drug task force carried out a search warrant at 148 Kenmore Ave. in Marion, where they arrested a Michigan man on drug charges.

Michael D. Blythe, 28, of Detroit was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, one count of heroin possession, and had two outstanding warrants.

Police say they found almost ten grams of heroin inside the home along with over $4,000 in cash.

According to Maj. Bill Collins of the Marion Police Dept., this is their fourth such raid in less than a week and he says "the trend will continue."
