A number of accidents have affected traffic this week, including one serious crash Wednesday morning in downtown Marion.

Police say two cars crashed at the intersection of Main St. and Klerx Ave. after 6:00 A.M. Traffic was affected in that area as police cleaned up the scene.

Officers with the Marion Police Dept. tell us both drivers were transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus with serious injuries.

Also, drivers on SR 746 just south of SR 95 were delayed Tuesday evening as a truck flipped onto its side and blocked all traffic. the Ohio State Highway Patrol says that wreck had SR 746 closed for almost two hours at about 5:30 P.M.

Dispatchers at the Highway Patrol also tell us that early Wednesday morning around 5:00 A.M., officers were handling a wreck that caused minor injuries. They say that crash happened on US 23 near a rest area.
