Just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday, a missing adult alert was posted for 83-year old Bessie Bowman of Worthington. According to the report, Bowman was last spotted by a Marion County Sheriff's Deputy at 11:49 p.m. on a routine traffic stop. Bowman is described as being a black woman, 5'6'' - 145 lbs., with white hair and brown eyes.

Ms. Bowman spoke to her daughter at 3:oopm on 1/2/2013 and then was last seen by the Marion County Sheriff's Department at 11:49pm for a routine traffic stop. Ms. Bowman advised that she was en route to South Carolina. There is no clothing description at this time. Ms. Bowman has been diagnosed with early stages of dementia and short term memory problems.

UPDATE: As of 7:16 a.m. Thursday, Bowman was located by Upper Sandusky Police and transported to a local hospital.
