Marion ended up with 9.2 inches of snow on the ground after Wednesday's blizzard conditions. The State Patrol is reporting eight crashes in Marion County--the good news is that none of these wrecks were serious, and resulted in zero injuries.

According to the Marion County Sheriff's office, we remain under a level one snow emergency as of 9 a.m. Thursday.

A level one implies that roadways are extremely hazardous with accumulated snow as well as icy roads. Drivers are urged to limit travel and Marion Co. Sheriff Tim Bailey reminds drivers to use extreme caution and give yourself more time than usual to make your commute.
