According to a press release from Whirlpool's Marion Division, the plant is closing today due to a main waterline break.

Per the release:

2nd shift production will not be required to report to work today, Tuesday, Nov. 6th.

3rd shift production will not be required to report to work for Weds. Nov. 7th production.

1st shift not required to work Weds. Nov. 7th.

2nd shift should call the jobsline by noon on Weds. Nov. 7th prior to reporting to work.

ALL maintenance employees should report to work both days, as scheduled.

ALL salaried employees should plan to report to work Weds. Nov. 7th.
