A style show and luncheon event is set for this weekend to benefit the Foundations Recovery Center on Rose Avenue. The "New Leaf New You Style Show & Luncheon" will be held from 11 am to 1 p.m. Saturday (September 29) at Charleston Place in downtown Marion. Tickets cost 30-bucks and that price covers the style show, a lunch by the Candy Shack & Café, door prizes and a chance to win hotel accommodations for three nights in Charleston, South Carolina. All proceeds benefit the Foundations Recovery Center, which offers a treatment program providing education, counseling and help with employment and technical training. The center has 15 residential beds, accessible to anyone in Marion County and staffed all day, every day. Individuals in the program are referred to it by social service agencies, businesses, physicians and the courts.
