The Marion County Historical Society is set to present a special program this evening (Sept. 20) on Fort Meigs and the War of 1812. The site is noted as home to the largest reconstructed, wood-walled fort in America. This evening’s event is to start promptly at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 at the Heritage Hall, located at 169 East Church Street, the headquarters for the Marion County Historical Society. Plenty of parking is available behind the building. For more information, you can call 387-4255.
