The Downtown Marion Market resumes today after taking a week off for the Marion Popcorn Festival. The markets will run from 4-7 p.m. every Friday through October 12th. Vendors set up on the sidewalks, starting from the corner of Main and Center streets and moving west on Center Street. Karen Herr, manager of Downtown Marion, notes that the markets include anything handmade, homemade or homegrown. Among the offerings: quilts, noodles, sweet corn, Amish rugs, pies, breads, green beans and jewelry. If you’re interested in becoming a vendor, you can call 740-382-2181.
