Construction is set to begin Monday on a major waterline replacement at Marion County’s Grandview Subdivision, a project intended to extend access to centralized water service to several homes in the area. It’s a part of a $310,000 project announced by Aqua Ohio. A manager for the company says the goal is to eliminate several dead-end service mains, improve water flow and extend access to Aqua Ohio’s service. The project calls for the installation of an 8-inch water line that will extend 3,900 linear feet. Six new fire hydrants also will be installed. The company estimates that new connections will be complete by mid November.
