The State Highway Patrol Marion post is investigating a single-vehicle crash from the weekend. The patrol reports that the crash involved a motorcycle driven by 43-year-old Dean M. Peredo of Marysville. A preliminary investigation indicates to the patrol that Peredo failed to negotiate a curve while heading north on State Rt.-37. Peredo drove off the right side of the road, through a ditch and struck a concrete culvert. Pedero was taken to the OSU Medical Center for treatment. The patrol reports that Pedero was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
