Authorities say that a headlight lens and tinted lens cover that were recovered from a hit-skip crash last week appear to be from a Pontiac Grand Am. The Marion post of the State Highway Patrol is asking the public to be on the lookout for a Pontiac Grand Am with a missing right front headlight and possible hood/right-front damage. The color and year of the car are unknown. The patrol reports that the hit-skip crash Thursday evening on Church Street, east of Sargent Street in the city of Marion, seriously injured a teen. A 17-year-old male was riding his bike, heading east on Church Street, when he was struck from behind by a car that just kept on going. The juvenile was ejected from his bike and struck the ground with his head. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information on a possible suspect is urged to contact the State Highway Patrol’s Bucyrus Dispatch Center at 419-562-8040
