The man who set fire to the Servex Center in December in an effort to cover up a burglary got his sentence yesterday. 18-year-old Craig Love is set to serve 14 years behind bars, and he also was ordered to pay more than a million dollars in restitution. Love pleaded guilty to aggravated arson, breaking and entering, two counts of vandalism and four counts of arson. The early morning blaze on December 29th was so large that it took the Marion Fire Department more than an hour to extinguish it. Police say they followed a trail of evidence that led them to a home where they found a large amount of property that had been stolen from Servex Electronics. A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for Thursday for 17-year-old Devin Hazlewood, who is accused of being Love’s accomplice in the crime.
