There will be a rededication tomorrow night of Sharon’s Secret Garden at the Marion Palace Theater. The event will take place at 6:30 tomorrow evening. The garden was built initially in 2000 to honor Sharon Bender, a first-grade teacher who had performed a number of shows at the Palace; she passed away in 1999 of ovarian cancer. The garden was removed in 2008 during construction of a pavilion at the Palace. The garden has since moved to the north side of the theater, and the rededication of the garden comes right on time for tomorrow night's opening of the summer musical, "Annie."

"Annie" will be performed at 8 pm tomorrow, on the 20th and 21st. And there will be 2 p.m. shows on the 15th and 22nd.
