Marion, OH – October 23, 2013 – What do you get when you mix three Marion City School educators; a couple of electric guitars; and the unbridled talent to perform a high energy rock show? You get Omega Kick, of course!
The local classic rock band Omega Kick will bring their act to the Marion Palace Theatre May Pavilion on Friday, November 22 at 8:00 pm.
The rock band boasts over 30 years of musical experience and is comprised of retired teacher, David K. Johnston (Drums and Vocals), Harding High School Telecom Instructor, John Mullins (Guitar, Keyboards and Vocals), and McKinley Elementary Principal, Rick Fogle (Bass and Vocals).
Omega Kick presents the best of live Rock-n-Roll and Rhythm & Blues by featuring the greatest hits by such bands and artists as The Doobie Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, Led-Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Eagles, Matchbox 20, Elton John and many more.
The trio has performed with national acts Diamond Dave Somerville and The Marcels on the Palace stage. In addition, Dave and John have been backing musicians for David Gates of Bread and Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits. They also serve as pit musicians for many Palace Productions.

Throughout the 2013-2014 season, the May Pavilion will act as a showcase for hometown bands. Come as a group of 8 or more and the Palace will reserve a table for you. Seating will be at tables on the main floor and mezzanine levels creating the ideal place to meet friends for a drink, chat, relax and enjoy the entertainment. A cash bar and concession items are available for purchase.

(Bring Back the Hometown Bands Series)
Managed by Marion’s Delaney Drew, Emperor Norton has achieved a broad yet familiar folk rock and roll sound covering artists such as Springsteen, Van Morrison, and The Band in addition to their original songs. Band members are Todd Zucker, Rob O’Neil, Michael Cormier and Scott Woodward.

New Park Drive
Ryan Cluff (bass), John W Garnes II (vocals), Jon Hansen (guitar/vocals) Caleb White (guitar) and Evan Richardson (drums) make up New Park Drive with an eclectic musical influence ranging from Motown to metal.
